Jordan is the owner of Rising Sun Counseling and full-time therapist. He has experience working with adolescents (14+), young adults, and adults on issues related to depression, anxiety, relationships, grief, work conflicts, work exploration, trauma, and stress management. He uses research-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in recognizing their personal strengths and resiliency to manage the adversities we all face in life. Jordan believes that self-awareness is a vital component to change, and insight gained from therapy will ultimately lead to a client's transformation.

Casey, a Limited Licensed Counselor at Rising Sun Counseling, provides compassionate counseling for various challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, compassion fatigue, career transitions, grief, and trauma. With experience at Eastern Michigan University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, she supported college students through mental health concerns and the unique transitions of college life. Casey draws from her diverse background to support clients ages 12 and up.

Dr. Irene Mass Ametrano is a Professor of Counseling at Eastern Michigan University and Clinical Supervisor at Rising Sun Counseling. Dr. Ametrano has experience working in college counseling and community mental health. Her teaching focuses on courses in clinical mental health counseling, including diagnosis and treatment planning, crisis intervention, and ethical and professional issues. She supervises practicum and internship students and provides clinical supervision for limited-licensed professional counselors (LLPCs) across Michigan.
